This project was one of my first major assignments out of college, and it taught me a lot about translating copy into clean, compelling design. I partnered closely with a copywriter who provided several lines, and I explored visual directions across a series of card concepts. Three designs were ultimately selected and produced, then distributed in CVS stores nationwide for Father’s Day. It was an exciting early win—and my first experience seeing something I designed on shelves across the country.
Because of COVID-19, CVS wanted to do something special for Father's Day -  so we designed a bunch of FREE printable cards. This project was sent out to whoever wanted to participate - copywriters came up with a bunch of greetings and designers created the corresponding art. I was assigned lead designer for this project and created about 50% of the art. I was in charge of collecting art form other designers and merging it with copy. I made all the final color and type decisions, and designed an email and website banner (top and bottom of this page) to advertise this effort.
